Winter at Jane's, a warm welcome

Last winter at this time we were buried under snow, and frozen to the bone.
Winter sings a different tune this year

Mixed evergreens soften the edges of this metal container here at Jane's front door. The fake pear's, the white berries, and the pine cones keep the tall white sticks company

A warm welcome no matter what the temperature is.

At Jane's back door there is also a small winter pot set next to the door.  This pot also features evergreens branches of Noble Fir and Boxwood, and birch twigs. The green Millet blooms  give height and textural interest.

No matter which of Jane's doors you enter through, the welcome or departure will  leave you warm.

Winter gardens

Here's a look at  a winter garden I designed for one of my clients.
There no reason for winter to be bland.
