The great Nursery comeback
No, this is not a post about Chickens, though they are part of the comeback of one of Michigan's oldest Nurseries.
I won't bore you with the history of this Nursery, we'll just say it's been around for quite some time and has had it's share of ups and down's
Through downsizing, and making use of the 7 acres of land the Nursery shares the grounds with several other businesses, as well as becoming a popular venue for events and parties
The outside theater is the perfect place for summer shows and movie's, as well as weddings
And yes there are even goat's who's milk is made into soap by one of the onsite businesses
The bocce ball court
Several greenhouses are stocked full of plants, from annuals perennials, tropicals, and indoor plants
Garden ornaments
Seasonal displays, wide Isles make it easy to use carts
I fell in love with these pink "Peace lilies"
Giant pumpkins
They even have a in house florist and floral shop. This is my friend "Laura" putting the finishing touches on this arrangement
The Floral shop is all decked out for Halloween
The old garage has been transformed into a wild bird feed and supply shop, and yes that is a 4 story Columnar Beech tree.
This is a place we like
